MTBBA is a non-profit association which represents the finest of Bed and Breakfast Inns in Montana. The purpose of our association is three fold:
To promote our member B&B’s to the greater community
In today’s world of internet marketing and booking, our website is our main vehicle to help promote our member properties. We also use social media to boost the exposure of our member’s social media campaigns. We promote the B&B industry and its advantages. Our website helps prospective guests to see where Bed and Breakfast lodging is available in the area they are looking to visit. By connecting events and activities to our local inns, we help the traveler to see how a B&B stay can enhance their Montana experience.
To provide mutual support amongst the members
Being a busy innkeeper can sometimes make you feel like you are running your business all by yourself with no one to turn to for answers or support. MTBBA is here to help its members to connect with each other, mainly via the internet, but also on an annual basis at our convention. Members have an online forum on which they can ask others opinions and questions. We also send out important information regarding regulations and upcoming trends in the industry.
Our annual convention gives the members a chance to not only learn new information and get new ideas, but also to meet other innkeepers. Friendships are made and even last a lifetime.
To have a voice in government regarding issues affecting our businesses
As the world of hospitality continues to change, the MTBBA is here to help ensure that the Bed and Breakfast Inns of Montana are heard by regulators. While an individual B&B can expect to have little or no influence in Helena, the association, representing a group of respected B&Bs, commands attention.
