Bad Rock B&B
Bad Rock Country Bed and Breakfast, selected as one of the top 12 inns for the US and Mexico by Country Inns Bed and Breakfast magazine, and just 20 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park, rests on 10 rolling acres in a gorgeous farming valley of open fields interspersed with battalions of towering pine trees. Enjoy our spectacular views of the nearby 7,200 foot high Swan Mountain Range, the magic of our quiet countryside, the wild geese flying overhead, and the coyotes howling at night. Almost all of our guests are here to see Glacier National Park. We have all the information you will need to drive and hike in the park and to make your vacation here in Montana a complete success: what to do and when to do it, travel times, the best restaurants, etc. (We have the finest restaurants you could expect to find anywhere right here in the Flathead Valley).

Make the most of your vacation, a Bad Rock ‘base camp’ is as good as it gets. Our enthusiasm for what we offer is difficult to contain. Besides being selected as one of the top 12 inns by Country Inns Magazine, we are inspected and approved by AAA Mobile and the Montana Bed and Breakfast Association. We offer three beautiful guest rooms in our house, which is furnished with Western Indian art, and five rooms in three square-hewn log buildings, white gas log fireplaces and beautiful, handmade lodge pole pine furniture.

Our Breakfast Menu feature a different breakfast every day, like: Belgium waffles heaped with wild Montana huckleberries, Grizzly Big Bite - served on jalapeno biscuits, a mixture of eggs, cheese and chorizo sausage, Montana Potato Pie, (the Jones Sausage winner), a combination of Swiss cheese, ham, hash browns and spices and Sundance Eggs, in the Mexican style served on a tortilla with the most delicious, Made - In - Montana (and almost fat free) sausage you have ever tasted. For guests desiring a breakfast on the lighter side, there is always Mark's delicious mix of dry cereals. Guests are encouraged to linger at breakfast, where the conversation will likely center on yesterday’s hiking experiences, current activities at Glacier, and the latest grizzly bear stories. A half acre of lawn surrounds our house, while the log buildings have been built right at the edge of our field where alfalfa grows, just the way the settlers lived.

Bad Rock should be your base for exploring the Glacier region summer or winter. Snowmobiles and cross-country/downhill skiing are available nearby. Call our toll-free number to receive a copy of our full-color brochure.
