Lehrkind Mansion B&B
Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Lehrkind Mansion allows guests to enjoy the comfortable ambiance of Montana's Victorian past. Built in 1897, the Lehrkind offers one of the state's finest examples of Queen Anne-style architecture. Gables, overhangs, bays and a large corner tower are among the Mansion's spectacular features. Relax in overstuffed chairs bathed in the light of large windows topped with leaded and stained glass. Immerse yourself among unique period antiques, original woodwork, oriental carpets, and the diverse indoor garden of palms, ferns and flowers.
Your hosts, Jon and Christopher, both former park rangers in Yellowstone National Park, are happy to discuss options for excitement filled day trips to Yellowstone, only ninety minutes from the Lehrkind.
Bozeman's historic downtown is only seven blocks from the mansion, providing the appealing options of a casual stroll for your evening meals or a shopping spree. Main street provides fine food, unique shops and even an historic movie theater.
The Lehrkind serves as a great base from which to explore the area. A nature trail can be accessed from the front gate and several museums are only minutes away. Bozeman serves as a great hub for skiers as Bridger Bowl is a fifteen minute drive and Big Sky is only a one hour drive. Numerous Forest Service trail heads provide easy access to the surrounding mountain ranges for hiking, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.
Make the Lerkind Mansion your relaxing refuge during you visit under Montana's big sky.
