The Outlook Inn Bed and Breakfast is just steps away from the crystal blue waters of Flathead Lake, the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi.
Built as a Bed and Breakfast in 1998, every room features a spectacular 20 mile long view of the lake. The lodge-like home features log accents and private bathrooms in every Montana themed guest room.
Sit on the main deck or your own deck and watch the sail boat races in the summer, or the Bald Eagles as they soar above the inn, in the fall and winter.
The Inn sits on seven private acres but is within 40 miles of Glacier National Park and just minutes from Whitefish, Bigfork, Glacier Park International Airport, Amtrak, and downtown Kalispell.
Open year around…all four seasons have something to offer. Summer and fall bring plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, bird and wildlife watching, picnicking or just relaxing by the lake. As the snow arrives so does our ski season. The Outlook Inn offers special ski packages for both Big Mountain in Whitefish and Blacktail Mountain in nearby Lakeside. Your hosts Todd and Michelle Ahern are also avid cross-country skiers and are happy to share information.
At night, curl up in front of the massive river-rock fireplace in the living room, or relax in the outdoor therapeutic spa while gazing at the star filled night sky or the lights on the lake.
Spring time brings warmer weather for outdoor walks or bike rides and plenty of activity around the valley.
The Outlook Inn Bed and Breakfast has four Montana theme guest rooms, each with a queen size bed, private bath and a deck with spectacular views of Flathead Lake and the Rocky Mountains (Some rooms have TV & fireplace). There is a private entry and common room with TV, phone, fridge, micro-wave and tourist information. A BBQ grill is also available for use.
Your hosts, Michelle and Todd are happy to help set up adventures such as sailing, hiking, kayaking, museum tours etc. They also offer special packages and deals through out the year.
