Annual Convention

  • horses

Each year we have our annual convention. The conventions feature keynote speakers and deal with the everyday trials of running a bed and breakfast in Montana. We encourage member participation and brainstorming. Non-members are always invited to attend. Perhaps most important of all is member networking and getting helpful information from the Association: where to find items you need for your B&B at the best prices; the right B&B insurance; recipes; guest referrals to other members when a member is full; etc. We are all in this together and our goal is to help each other as much as possible.

We look forward to having you join our group. If you have any questions, please feel free to email.

2015 MTBBA Convention

March 29-31st at Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown; Missoula, MT

The Montana Bed and Breakfast Association’s annual convention will be held in Missoula, March 29-31, at the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown. Our goal is to equip you with the resources and information you will need to have a successful Bed and Breakfast as well as conduct our annual business meeting.

This year we will be featuring Rick and Peter from the B & B Team. They have been working with Innkeepers since 1993, hosting seminars and workshops for those wanting to start a Bed and Breakfast, buy an Inn, sell an Inn, or assisting with the organization and outlining of running a successful Bed and Breakfast.

With the B&B Team’s combined knowledge and experience in acquisition, valuation, financing, staffing, Innkeeping and hospitality you will be fully immersed in an intensely informative day and half convention. You will leave with an understanding of the steps you need for improving your bed and breakfast today but also how to sell your property for a profit when that time comes. There will be many opportunities for you to ask questions, time to network with members of our association, and make connections with vendors.

There will be a Pre-Conference workshop for those wanting to dive further into the business and think of outside revenue you can bring into your Bed and Breakfast besides the overnight guests. This will be held Sunday March 29th from 2:30-4:30. Contact Tom and Nancy for further information on this as well as watch for further information to be sent to you. The registration form is attached to this email. Please fill it out and send it in soon!
