Victor - Spectacular Views

In the Bitterroot Valley between the Bitterroot Mountains, the Bitterroot River and the Sapphire Mountains sits the small town of Victor, MT.  Best known for its spectacular views of the mountains, valleys, and rivers, and for the friendly and helpful people, Victor is a great place to visit for outdoor recreation and relaxation.

Victor, named after Chief Victor of the Salish tribe, is along the trail of Lewis and Clark as they travelled west. Here you can experience some of the same beauty they did.  It is ideal for fishing, hiking, bike riding, and wildlife viewing.  

Less than 1000 residents, Victor is close to Stevensville, Hamilton, and Darby in the Bitterroot Valley.  It is also a short drive to Missoula when you need a ‘big city’ experience.
